I was not a big kid growing up. In fact, my mom described me as this mostly legs/toes/head boy who might float away if it wasn’t for the amount of toys I carried everywhere I went. This is probably why I loved the Bible story of David and Goliath. Little guy takes down the big giant. It gave me hope. I was always seen as the underdog, long shot of a kid taking down what seemed to be an overwhelming giant. I liked that.

What if I told you it was the little boy in the story of “David & Goliath” who had the advantage and the giant who was the underdog. Often, what seems like giants in our lives or in this world are not the ones with the upper hand. We are! When we realize this truth we live differently.  We discover that no matter what is in front of us, we are made for this!
