Kairos – High School Missional Community
For 9th – 12th graders
WHAT IS A MISSIONAL COMMUNITY?
A Community of Christians, experiencing life together outside of the “church” walls.
Growth in Faith, Community and Discipleship
The missional community is the best context in which this can happen. Disciples are made and developed:
- Through life on life, where there is visibility and accessibility
- In community, where they can practice skills with one another, and
- On mission where they learn how to proclaim the gospel and make disciples.
UP – RELATIONSHIP/TIME WITH GOD
IN – RELATIONSHIP/TIME WITH CHRISTIAN PEERS
OUT – RELATIONSHIP/TIME SERVING COMMUNITY IN JESUS NAME
In our time spent together, students and leaders will pray and seek where God is calling us to serve as a group and dedicate OUT time. This is not something we decide ahead of time but through praying, seeking and building with each other we believe God will reveal to us our mission as a Missional Community.
