Class size is limited to twenty students with two teachers present at all times. Our student-teacher ratio will not exceed 10 to 1.
Community of Hope Preschool seeks to nurture the spiritual, emotional, cognitive, social and physical growth of young children. Our program is based on Christian principles and is provided in a safe and loving environment.
Our program is designed to provide active and quiet, child-selected and teacher-directed activities.
Play is vital to growing children and is a major portion of our class time. Our classroom is set up with activity and learning centers that permit children to experiment and explore their environment. We want every child to be successful and feel good about him or herself.
The religious curriculum will include Bible stories and/or lessons about sharing, loving and forgiving. These lessons will help your child understand that Christ loves us and wants us to love others.
We also provide instruction in letters, numbers, shapes, reading readiness, music, creative arts and physical education. To prepare the children for easy transition to Kindergarten, we strive to increase the child’s skill in listening, self-discipline, conversation, creative self-expression and to develop the ability to work and play independently and cooperatively.
Through Christian love, we strive to teach the children to share thoughts, ideas, toys, equipment, time, friends and themselves. The children’s daily experiences, discoveries and happenings at school will help them expand their perceptions of God, people and the world in which God has placed us. A great deal of emphasis will be placed on the formation of a positive self-image and healthy relationships with others.
