Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of the most important elements in our Christian walk.

So important that Jesus himself reminded us in Matthew 21:13 that “My house will be called a place of prayer”.

1Timothy 2:1 states, “I urge you first to pray for all people”.

We will not grow in our faith and walk with Jesus Christ, individually nor as a church body unless we are praying.

Prayer is communicating with our Lord and through prayer we: • grow in our relationship and intimacy with Him.
• come in line with what is on God’s heart.
• receive blessing and insight for ourselves, our families and our church.

But prayer is often the most difficult discipline of our Christian walk.

At Community of Hope we want to support you in your growth as a person of prayer. Whether you are a new Christian just learning to pray or seasoned prayer we want to support, equip, and encourage you.

During the year we will be offering classes, and opportunities to pray together as well as listings of outside activities for further growth. We will announce these opportunities in the weekly bulletin, as well as list them on the Community Of Hope website.
