Mission

“He called the twelve and began to send them out two by two….So they went out and proclaimed that all should repent.”

- Engage people in daily life.
-Invite people into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
-Encourage people to grow in relationship with Jesus.
-Impart the gifts of the Holy Spirit for building the Church.
-Invest in people, programs and church plants for the purpose of building God’s Kingdom.

Biblical View

“All Scripture is inspired by God (God Breathed) and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.”

The Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God and is the source and norm for daily life and decisions.
Understanding of Sin: The Bible teaches that “All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.”

Salvation

The Bible teaches that “We are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”(Romans 3:24) “Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through him.”

Discipleship

The Bible teaches that having met the risen Christ, we are called to a life of discipleship and directs us to practice discipleship through: Bible Reading, Prayer, Worship, Service, Tithing, and Christian Fellowship.

Prayer

The Bible teaches that prayer deepens our relationship with God, bringing God’s power to bear in the world and directs us to “pray always and not lose heart.”

Social Views

Government

The Bible teaches that governmental authority is given by God and directs us to be subject to governmental laws and to participate in the formation of constructive government.

Justice

The Bible teaches that all people are valuable in God’s eyes and directs us to care for the poor and needy and stand against personal or community injustice.

Possessions/Wealth

The Bible teaches that all we have is a gift from God, directs us away from greed and directs us toward joyfully returning 10% of our financial resources to the work of the Lord.

Euthanasia, Abortion, Death Penalty, War–The Bible teaches that life is a gift from God and directs us to value life, be life giving and choose life as a first approach to all decisions.
