Alpha Is Coming! Are you?
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life than your cubicle? Or perhaps you have wondered about the whole faith thing and how it applies in today’s world? If you have asked yourself these or similar questions, then Alpha is for you.
Due to lower than anticipated pre-registrations we are cancelling Alpha for the winter session. Look for another Alpha session later in 2012

What Is Alpha? Alpha is a practical introduction to the Christian Faith. It is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to explore the meaning of life in a safe and non-threatening atmosphere.

Do I have to sign up now for the whole course?
- You can sign up for Alpha at the Kick Off Dinner on February 12. Check it out first and then decide if you want to take the course.
Is there childcare?
- Yes, for children 8 years and under.
Can I invite friends or family members that do not attend Community of Hope?
- Yes, all are welcome. Invitations to give to friends and family members are available at the information table.
I have attended Alpha in the past but was unable to attend the Holy Spirit Day, can I attend that?
- Yes, more information about Holy Spirit day will be posted in the future.
Can I take Alpha more than once?
- Yes, especially if you have taken it before at a different church, were unable to attend all the sessions or want to attend with someone that you are inviting.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Many hands make light work. If you like to serve others and have a great time doing it, then we want you at Alpha. There are many areas to help including the kitchen, set-up and tear-down, leaders, and helpers.
- Kitchen: Preparing and serving food
- Set-Up and Take-Down: You don’t have to be a weight lifter to help out
- Leaders and Helpers: Training will be provided, no prior small group leadership experience required, but you must have taken the Alpha course. Sign up by clicking HERE or contact Jason at jasonmiller@Cohlc.org.
